Pat Quinn honored in Vancouver on St. Patrick’s Day

USP NHL: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS AT VANCOUVER CANUCKS S HKN CAN BRHe passed away last fall, but Pat Quinn is far from forgotten.

On Tuesday night, the Vancouver Canucks honored their former head coach and executive prior to the team’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers (who Quinn also coached during his many years in the NHL).

Add in the fact Tuesday was St. Patrick’s Day, and it was the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to a larger-than-life presence who had a major impact in the hockey community.

Before the in-arena ceremony got underway, the Canucks had a surprise to unveil outside, and ‘Pat Quinn Way’ made it’s official debut.

Yes, Pat Quinn now has his own street in downtown Vancouver.
