1. This was the greatest day of the NCAA Tournament ever

The second round of the NCAA tournament had five games decided by one point. UAB won 60-59 over Iowa State with a huge three-pointer from Robert Brown that shot everyone’s brackets to Hades. UCLA won 60-59 over SMU with a divisive goaltending call, the likes of which a lot of us have never seen before. Cincinnati beat Purdue 66-65 in overtime. NC State won a 66-65 nail-biter over LSU. And let’s not forget that Georgia State beat Baylor 57-56 with a shot so crazy it knocked Panthers head coach Ron Hunter out of his chair.

This is the first time this many games have been this close in a single day in all of tournament history. The last time that the tournament came to packing this much excitement was March 16, 1984, which had four…
