Chicago’s Wrigley Field is now the proud owner of a jumbotron.
The structure is part of the Cubs’ privately funded $575 million renovation conducted this offseason. However, not everyone is happy with the thought of a new Wrigley Field — owners of rooftop businesses across the street protested the renovations, claiming the field’s new structures will block their views.
Yeah, we can’t imagine they’ll be too happy with this ridiculously huge jumbotron.
Despite all the changes, though, the Cubs announced Tuesday that the field will indeed be ready for Sunday’s home opener…
