Let’s take a trip down the bike path.

Here’s my entry for this week’s Black and White Challenge! Let’s take a trip along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway in Nelsonville.

Son of Cee’s Which Way Challenge – 8/6/16

Just when it thought it was out, we dragged it back in. 😉

That’s right, gentlebeings, the Which Way Challenge is back! I might have missed the debut week, but I’m here now, so here you go.

This week, I’m setting my Wayback Machine for five years ago, when I took a trip to COSI in Columbus, OH with some friends. We also stopped at Bicentennial Park on the Scioto Mile.

Which Way Challenge: The Final Chapter

It’s Cee’s last Which Way this week, and I’m joining in with some oldies-but-goodies from my Flickr archives. Have some pics from the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway from ’09! 🙂

Challenge Double Shot — Which Way/Outdoors – #RTCOpeningDay

Today’s the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy‘s Opening Day for Trails, and I pledged to go out and walk a part of the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway in my hometown of Nelsonville, OH. And since I was taking pictures, I figured I’d use the opportunity to send submissions for this week’s Which Way Challenge and Travel Theme.

It was pretty chilly for the last Saturday of March (mid-30s) so I basically had the bikepath all to myself (only saw one other person). I didn’t walk the entire trail, just from the Rocky Brands Outlet Store to Polley Field. Upside: it was a nice sunny day out. 🙂

And here’s some bonus shots for the Which Way:

March One Four Challenge — Week the Fourth

It’s the fourth week of the month, and the last week of this month’s One Four!

Another simple one this week, employing Paint.net's Frosted Glass effect after the usual Auto-Level.

Missed any of my previous contributions this month? Here’s a gallery!

I liked doing these challenges. Hope to see you all in May since we have the next month off! 😀

March One Four Challenge — Week the Second

It’s a new week and a new submission for the March One Four!

This week, after I did my usual Auto-Level in Paint.NET, I played with gradients for the first time. I overlaid a yellow gradient on the picture.

One Four Challenge — March, Week the First

New month, new One Four Challenge! 😀

Here’s the base photo I’m using this month:

Part of the bike trail along the Scioto Mile in Columbus, OH. Yes, I know the right side's a bit blurry; I think it had something to do with the camera I was using at the time.

Here’s what I did to it for this week’s round:

Using Paint.NET, I tweaked the Curves a smidge, then added some noise.

WWC ’15 Week 1 — #ThrowbackThursday on the Bikeway

Hey, gang! I’m here with my first Cee’s Challenge post of the year!

This week, I’m digging up some pics from my archives that I took along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway a few years back.

You can learn more about this and other rail-trails at The Rails-To-Trails Conservancy and TrailLink.
