In early September, Panini America will reintroduce an old friend to football collectors with the release of 2015 Donruss Football. The first standalone Donruss-branded NFL product since 2002 will deliver both hobby and retail versions steeped in long-adored brand staples such as Rated Rookies, Classics, Dominators, Gridiron Kings, Passing the Torch Autographs and more.
Set to release on September 2, each hobby box of 2015 Donruss Football (eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box) will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards, four parallels, four Rated Rookies, one Classics, two Gridiron Kings, nine Elite inserts, nine Elite Rookies, two Passing the Torch inserts, two Elite Series and one Dominator.
Bolstered by the regal return of Diamond Kings Baseball as a standalone brand earlier this year after more than a decade away, Panini America officials recently announced that the art-card renaissance is crossing over to the NFL, too. In early October, the fabled Gridiron Kings Football makes its resounding comeback as a standalone brand for the first time since 2003, and it will exhibit the unique artistic flair that has drawn critical acclaim in years past.
Each 12-pack hobby box of 2015 Gridiron Kings Football will deliver one autograph, one memorabilia card, one Blue Frame base card, seven Rookie Cards, three Red Frame Rookie Cards, one Blue Frame Rookie Card, one Red Frame Limited Lithos, two All-Time Stat Kings, one Red Frame All-Time Stat Kings and five additional inserts or parallels.
In its first two years of existence, Panini America’s Spectra Football franchise has developed a loyal following among hardcore collectors as a go-to brand for higher-end Optichrome kicks, jaw-dropping jumbo memorabilia cards, and absolutely stacked autograph and memorabilia rosters that work in concert with the colorful Spectra technology to create some of the most impressive looking cards of every season.
And when 2015 Spectra Football arrives in early September just in time for the start of the new NFL season, it will do so with all of its trademark characteristics firmly intact — and with a few new wrinkles, too. For 2015, Spectra Football will deliver color-coordinated inks to match its Neon Blue, Neon Green, Neon Orange and Neon Pink Rookie Jersey Patch Autographs parallels. It will also include only patches in that chase, too.
Each 12-pack box of 2015 Prizm Collegiate Draft Picks Football delivers two autographs (although some deliver three) and an inviting array of Prizm parallels that could run the spectrum from base to Purple Flashes to Camos to Tie-Dyes to Blues to Greens to Golds to Black Finites to hobby-only Red, White and Blues. The product also delivers a captivating array of inserts headlined by the likes of Stained Glass, and the die-cut D-Fence and Team Helmets.
Panini America’s landmark Score Football is readying for another epic season. Entering its 27th year as football collecting’s early season product of choice, the 2015 edition of Score Football will deliver a massive 400-card base set (including more than 100 Rookie Cards featuring players in the their college uniforms), new inserts such as Die-Cut Puzzle cards and Gridiron Heritage, and a checklist-busting assortment of parallels.
Set to release in late June, each box of 2015 Score Football (12 cards per pack, 24 packs per box) will yield one autograph or memorabilia card and each pack will deliver up to three Rookie Cards. The new Die-Cut Puzzle cards will allow collectors to piece together their favorite fantasy trios with Ground Gainers, Precision Passers and Playmakers versions.
