Sharing My World — 1-17-17

It’s been a while, but here’s my entry for this week’s Share Your World!

Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?

Closed.

Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?

Usually.

What is your usual bedtime?

Usually between 11-11:30.

Do you like to use post-it notes?

Occasionally.

When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?

I dunno. 🙄

Any phobias?

shrug

How tall are you?

[REDACTED]

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Not sure about this week, but I’m thankful my area didn’t get as bad an ice problem as what the middle of the country got.

Nice set of questions this week!

Sharing My World 36

After not having done one in a while, I decided to respond to this week’s Share Your World.

And here we go! 🙂

Do you prefer reading coffee table books (picture), biographies, fiction, non-fiction, educational?

Why tell you my preferences when I can show you? 😉

My comic trade and manga collection. Mostly Marvel (Marvel NOW!-era) with some Archieverse Sonic for spice. ^_^

I got these Calvin and Hobbes books at a library sale last month. I still find the series pretty good.

What is your biggest fear or phobia? (no photos please)

Pass.

What is your favorite cheese?

It’s a toss-up between mozzarella and provolone. 😉

What is your favorite month of the year?

I dunno. 😛

Sharing My World 29 — Subs and Peanut Butter

Cee’s put out a new Share Your World, and I’m tossing my proverbial hat into the proverbial ring! 😀

Have you ever been in a submarine?  If you haven’t, would you want to?

No, and it depends on the type of sub.

Are you a listener or talker?

I’m more of a listener myself.

Do you prefer crunchy peanut butter or smooth peanut butter?   Anything with your peanut butter?

I don’t always eat peanut butter, but when I do, I prefer smooth, usually by itself, unless it’s a Reese’s cup. 🙂

Have you ever been drunk?

No, nor would I want to.

Nice set of questions this week, not too hard to think about. 🙂 Like what you’ve read? Leave comments!

Later, nerds! 😀

Sharing My World 26

After a few weeks letting it go, it’s time I got back on the Share Your World horse!

Is your refrigerator organized or a mess inside?

I’d have to say a little of both, but kinda-sorta leaning toward “Mess.” ^_^

If you could be famous for one thing, what would it be?

Don’t really know off the top of my head. 😦

What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?

That’s another toughie. ^_^

Where do you eat breakfast?

Mostly in front of my TV, like all my meals. 😉

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Just yesterday, I got a new chair to replace my old, broken-down one, thanks to some friends of mine from church.

Sharing My World Wk. 21

Well, gang, it’s Monday again, and time for a new Share Your World Challenge!

If you could make a 15 second speech to the entire world, what would you say?

Always have some idea for a 15 second speech. 😛

If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be?

I’ve always been partial to Times Square.

If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store but could remove nothing, which store would you pick?

Well, since I’d already be in Times Square,  I’d say the Midtown Comics store.

If you were given a boat or yacht today, what would you name it?  (You an always sell the yacht later)

Dunno offhand. 😦

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I saw X-Men: Days of Future Past yesterday thanks to the generosity of friends. It was the first X-Movie I ever saw in the theater. I liked it a lot.

Saw #XmenDOFP yesterday. I liked it a lot. #selfie

That’s my world this week, folks! Let’s do it again next week! 🙂

Sharing My World: Week 20

Good evening, boys and girls! It’s time for this week’s Share Your World! Let’s see what answers I can come up with, shall we? 🙂

If you could go back and visit any time period, what time would you travel to and why?

That’s a bit of a toughie. Pass. 😛

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?  This is a time for you to dream and have fun.

  • A comic shop and/or bookstore in my hometown.
  • My own self-driving car.
  • Nothing’s coming to mind for the third wish… 😦

Wanting something to quench your thirst, what would you drink?

I like soda, but I’ll also take a sports drink, juice, chocolate milk, or water if nothing else is available.

If you watch TV what are your favorite three television shows?

Modern Family

Arrow

(Sorry, couldn’t find a pic :()

Bob’s Burgers

Agents of SHIELD

I’m also a fan of Community (RIP, Human Beings for Life) and Parks and Rec.

What do ya think? Leave a comment!

Sharing My World Week 19

New week, new SYW Challenge! 🙂

Do you prefer shopping or going to a park?

I could actually go either way, but I think I like going shopping a little more.  ^_^

What is the highest score you’ve ever made in bowling?  Actual or virtually played.

I don’t actually bowl that much, so I’m not really sure. 😛 The last time I went bowling was earlier this year with friends from my church. I think I got around 100.

Name the foreign countries you’ve been to.

Never been outside the States, sorry to say. 😦

Describe your own outlook on life in seven words or less.

That’s a toughie. Let me back to you. 🙂

Well, that was fun. Can’t wait for next Monday! 😀

Sharing My World — 2014 Week 18

041514 sywbanner

Let’s take a crack at this week’s Share Your World.

What object do you always have with you when traveling and why?

My phone. It’s not as much of a lifeline as other people’s, but it’s great for killing a few minutes looking thru Twitter or when I come across a photo op.

What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?

Not quite sure offhand. 😦

Which would you prefer:  a wild, turbulent life filled with joy, sorrow, passion, and adventure–intoxicating successes and stunning setbacks; or a contented bordering on happy, secure, predictable life surrounded by friends and family without such wide swings of fortune and mood?

The latter, with occasional opportunities for fun.

What are your favorite spices?

Dunno if I have a favorite-favorite, but I do like to put in a little garlic powder in my cooking on occasion.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

This past Thursday, I saw a presentation of The Importance of Being Earnest that a friend of mine was starring in. It was pretty good, and I’m glad I was able to see it.

Sharing My World — Week 15 2014

Hey all! First time doing one of these, so go easy on me, ‘kay? 😉

For your blog do you basically use Windows or Mac, laptop, desktop, pad, or phone?

I generally use a combo of my phone for picture-taking and sifting thru my Twitter feed to gather bloggable material which I mail to myself and my Windows 7 laptop for actual post creation on my WP and Tumblr. (I have my WP set up to crosspost to the Tumblr.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Offhand, I think I was interested in space.

Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?

I did most of my growing-up in the suburbs of Savannah, GA. I liked it.

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

Dunno. 😉
