NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets and connected TVs – will bring back its “Tactical Cam” for the 2015-16 Premier League season. The “Tactical Cam” is a high-sideline camera meant to show all 22 players on the pitch at the same time, enabling fans to see formations and evaluate each team’s attacking and defending tactics as the game progresses.
The “Tactical Cam” will be available in both the NBC Sports Live Extra desktop and mobile & tablet presentations of the game. This second screen application can be viewed in a Picture-in-Picture presentation on desktop where the user has the option of utilizing the “Tactical Cam” as a pop-up in the main screen while following the main coverage in a smaller viewing window. On a mobile device or tablet, “Tactical Cam” can be viewed as a separate stream to complement the traditional broadcast view.

NORWICH CITY CLUB PROFILE | NBC Sports Pressbox
First match: Norwich City v. Crystal Palace, Sat., August 8, 10 a.m. ET
Norwich City earned promotion by winning the Championship Playoff Final 2-0 against Middlesbrough, just one year after being relegated from the Premier League. Credit for the Canaries’ late-season success has been given to manager Alex Neil, who was virtually unknown when he was hired in January. The 34-year-old was previously serving as a player-manager of a Scottish Premier League team, but since joining English football he has earned a reputation for his meticulous planning and approach. More than two-thirds of the current team have Premier League experience, many with Norwich just two seasons ago.
One of the Premier League’s 22 founding members in 1992, Norwich City have spent most of the last 23 years between the top two tiers of English football (the exception was one season spent in the third tier in 2009-10). The Canaries are now entering their 25th top-division season overall, which is notable given that the club did not first earn a spot in the top flight until 1972, 70 years after they were founded. The only major trophy ever won by the club is the League Cup, which they have lifted twice (1962, 1985).
In their eye-catching “canary yellow” and green kits, Norwich have played home matches at Carrow Road, by the banks of the River Umber in east England, since 1935. At the time of the club’s founding, the area had been known for canary breeding ever since the bird was brought to the city by Dutch weavers in the 16th century, and the nickname “the Canaries” was adopted.
6 DAYS UNTIL NEW PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON KICKS OFF ON THE NETWORKS OF NBCUNIVERSAL – WATFORD CLUB PROFILE | NBC Sports Pressbox
First match: Everton v. Watford, Sat., August 8, 10 a.m. ET
Watford earned automatic promotion to the 2015-16 Premier League by finishing second in the Football League Championship last season. This will be the club’s first Premier League season since 2006-07, and supporters are hoping that they can improve on their previous two Premier League campaigns, when they were immediately relegated following last-place finishes. Watford are inexperienced when it comes to the top tier of English football, having competed in just eight previous top-flight seasons. With new manager Quique Sanchez Flores at the helm, Watford face an uphill fight for Premier League survival, and bookmakers have made the Hornets the odds-on favorites for relegation.
The club is located northwest of London, in the county of Hertfordshire, and boasts one of the most famous celebrity fans in all of English football, Sir Elton John. He was born five miles from the team’s stadium, Vicarage Road, and is a lifelong fan, former owner, and current Honorary Life-President of the club.
